Stamps Restaurant (next to the old Mitcham post office, hence the name) is located in a suburban backstreet. Its little shopfront hides underneath a heritage veranda and vines. Enter through the timber doors and there sits a quaintly inviting restaurant, seating about 45 people.

Stamps may have plenty of old fashioned touches but the approach to food and service is entirely modern.

The menu is seasonal and is the same for lunch and dinner. At lunch time there is a 2 course lunch special available for $40 per person.

The wine list is almost entirely Australian, well-priced, with a selection of over 80 wines and 18 by the glass.
